Torrison Stone & Garden announced three winners of its first-ever photo
contest. Durham residents Bob and Diane Moore took first place for their
photo of children walking on their wall. The Moores, who live on Haddam
Quarter Road, had a stone wall built at their house, and received $250 for
their first-place win. Other winners included Bruce and Sandra Busby, of
Madison, who won $150 for the photo of their front walkway, and Guilford
resident Linda Clarke in third place with a $75 prize, for the picture of her
stone wall. The contest began this past summer when Torrison Stone & Garden
customers were asked to submit photos of the work the Durham-based company
did at their homes. About 50 photo entries were received for the contest. |
